Iran is the most sanctioned country in the world. Yet, there has been little investigation of the systemic impacts sanctions have had beyond their targeted economic effects. This multi-year interdisciplinary project aims to provide a holistic perspective of the consequences of sustained sanctions to help inform the political and academic discourse surrounding this widely used foreign policy tool.
